A note about Future Classes and Events

It will be stated on the event or class flyer if there is an age limitation. We
understand the apprehension of our community.

Although, we believe in love and representation for children and adults in all artistic formats. Our goal as a community is to recognize diversity, respect, and equality for all art forms.

According to the Hillsborough County Art Council, they will continue to uphold an “organization for arts and culture and is committed to providing cultural equity and access to arts and culture for all”; we wish to do the same and lead by
example.

Where our younger students are involved, we will follow the principles
set in place by the Hillsborough County Public School Strategic Plan, “We are committed to the elimination of systemic disparities by implementing systems and practices that strengthen and support equitable practices. [We will] promote a welcoming and respectful learning environment in which the diversity of all students is valued.”.
For specialty classes and events:
The first art forms ever sculpted and painted were that of the human body and its innate nature (Venus Figurines, Aphrodite of Knidos). The human form represents life and cultural diversity. We encourage our community to view body equality, in art, as a promising step in the right direction. We do also recognize that it has a limited time and space to be on public display.
