Description: Judy Johnson is one of the original art instructors from when Center Place first opened. Judy has a vast knowledge of oil painting and miniatures and she loves sharing her knowledge with her students. Judy’s oil painting class is based on techniques and theories that are introduced through practice and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on choice of materials, depiction of light and shadow, painting techniques, basic color mixing and composition. The course provides students with a foundation for creative expression in oil painting.
